Nestled away from all the noise and hustle of the Phoenix area sits an incredible find of courses at the Gold Canyon Resort, Dinosaur Mountain and Sidewinder. Located about 40 minutes west of Sky Harbor Airport, Gold Canyon is well worth the drive to play golf no matter where you are staying. They offer two great courses, top-notch conditions, a friendly staff, and some terrific views of the surrounding area. Most importantly, golfers can expect fun and good times regardless of which course they choose.

The Dinosaur Mountain is the flagship of Gold Canyon Resort. It's a premium course many consider to be one of the top courses in the state. Golfers will enjoy the elevation changes and the dramatic views that can be found throughout Dinosaur Mountain. The front nine has golfers traversing up the mountain and then has them traveling back down with some incredible scenery in the mix. Holes Four and Five are viewed as their signature holes and could easily make any Dream 18 for Arizona golf.

Although not the same quality as its sister, the Sidewinder is still a great choice to play if you are looking for an inexpensive course or a course that is a little more forgiving. The Sidewinder sets up more around the base of the Dinosaur Mountain but still offers some great surrounding views of the area. Many consider Sidewinder to be a great value.

AOS Golf is currently offering replay specials for both courses at Gold Canyon Resort. Golfers can play a combo of Dinosaur-Sidewinder, Sidewinder-Sidewinder, and even Dinosaur-Dinosaur. Both rounds must be booked and played on the same day to be eligible for the Double Play Special. The following rates are valid for any tee time from 5/27 to 9/4.
